Day Camps!

Your child can have an equestrian experience this summer! Progressive is offering week-long day camps this summer, through late June, July and August. Our day camps offer the full equestrian experience in a fun-filled week. Students will feed, groom and ride horses. They will participate in horse-related crafts and games at our private riding facility.

Cost = $275.00 for the week
Schedule = 10:00 to 3:00

**This camp is intended as a "teen" camp, for riders 11 years and older.

Our minimum age for day campers is five years old. Day campers should dress appropriate for the weather, bring a helmet (equestrian helmet, bike helmet, skiing helmet), wear long pants, close-toed shoes and pack a lunch. Birthday Parties

Have a memorable birthday with Progressive Equestrian Services. Whether a student or not, your child and guests can have a wonderful birthday experience at our stable. We can provide service for up to a dozen child riders. We also have a party room with a view of the arena. All children are led by an experienced handler, and get to meet all the horses during a tour of the barn. For more information, please call Hallie at 360-441-2073, or go to our contact page.

Party for 10 children = $150.00
Extra riders = $15 each
Limit of 12 riders

Horse Shows

If you are an active Progressive student, you will have the opportunity to compete at local schooling, club and 4-H shows. We supply the horses, tack and trailering, you get the fun and ribbons! Please understand, we must limit the number of riders per show.

Our fee = $60 (covers horses, horse transport and tack)
Other expenses = Entry fees for events (usually $4 - $7 per event), lunch

Horse Leases

Would you like to have the freedom to ride as your schedule permits, but can't own your own horse? Then, lease a wonderful horse from us! With a lease, you don't have to feed, clean up after or otherwise manage a horse. You don't have to purchase and store expensive tack. You do get the joy of riding.

Our leases are available to active students
All riders must have a signed release form on file
Scheduled riding time for your convenience
Lease rides = $20/hour
Minor riders must have guardian present to ride

Exercise Program

Horseback riding alone is terrific exercise. You work your legs, hips, buttox and upper body. You also work your mind as you learn new skills. Yet for those who don't necessarily wish to learn all the riding skills, you can still get the exercise. Let us lunge you! We will put you on a horse, that is on a lunge line, for half an hour, and put you through an upper-body work-out while your lower body works with the horse. This hands-free riding experience is great exercise for all, and builds confidence on the back of a horse. Get out of the gym, and on a horse!
